An only child will often want to have his/her personal face. And at times it takes a lot more time to bring up an only child. With other children it’s easier because they can interact with other children. I had siblings and it was much easier, but I currently only have one child. So it seems much different.

Some parents just have to learn when to let go! Children will learn to grow on their own, IF they are allowed to be ON THEIR OWN. That is the key ingredient. As a parent, I can see why this is tough!
