Well, I think that children from larger families grow up faster making them small adults. The only child is often the baby of the family a lot longer than in the other situation. This causes them to grow into an adult much later.

I think a lot of only children will follow what their parents do, but they still want to do what they want to do. Kids don’t always follow the route the parents take, or so I don’t believe they do. I personally feel that an only child will do what pleases them. If spending time with their parents is what pleases them, then that’s what they’ll do. Anyways I think sometimes an only child might be a mini adult. I’ve seen it before, but I still think they focus on being kids first.
